Though it may be small, the Peterson SC-1 StroboClip is a precision, strobe tuner with accuracy down to 1/10 cent, like all Peterson strobe tuners. The SC-1 also includes Peterson's new Sweetened Tunings and alternate temperaments for a wide variety of string and wind instruments.This include guitars, mandolins, ukuleles, banjos, even bagpipes; and many more. It also has Sweeteners for guitars that use the patented Buzz Feiten Tuning System. With new Sweeteners and temperaments specific to acoustic instruments, the CS-1 is the first multi-temperament clip-on tuner ever available on the market.
The StroboClip display, controls, and electronics are encased in a brushed aluminum shell for long life and to help it withstand the rigors of the road. It also come with its own cushioned, metal carrying case to protect it when not in use. The SC-1's clamp has soft, rubber pads in the jaws to protect the instrument's finish, while providing a firm grip for maximum vibration detection.
