Clear Treble Strings: The KF Alliance treble strings are a special composite mono-filament string, developed by Savarez. The evolution of the classical treble string has gone from gut to nylon, now to high tech composite; with higher density, strength, and longer life ("Long Play") than nylon. With their uniform crystalline micro structure and superior acoustic characteristics, these strings produce clear and energetic tones, with longer sustain. Because they are stronger than nylon strings, KF Alliance treble strings are thinner and dissipate less energy to the air, and more to the sound board of the guitar. The third string provides a smooth transition between the second and fourth strings, without having to be wound.
Wound Bass Strings: The 540J silver plated bass strings are a more traditional design, on a multi-filament nylon core. However, Savarez has perfected this design so they produce a rich tone with ample projection and power. Their response and feel is a close match for the KF Alliance trebles, and together they produce a well balanced string set with pleasing sonic qualities.
