The Jasmine S35 from Takamine is a standard, six string dreadnaught acoustic guitar, for straight forward picking and strumming. It's a simple instrument with no electronics, but it does have a laminated spruce top, nato wood back and side, and rosewood bridge and fretboard. The neck features an adjustable truss rod, that is accessed through the sound hole, with no need for a truss rod cover to weaken the neck at the head. The laminated spruce top is made in an advanced design to optimize the strength and sound development potential of the top, not just a cost saving measure. This design is also more impervious to the elements and humidity changes than regular solid tops, so you won't have to worry much about climate changes affecting your guitar. It also has a low luster, satin finish which lets the top and body vibrate more easily, while protecting it from the elements. The instrument is well voiced and has ample volume, clarity, and projection to satisfy any non-amplified need, and let you have fun doing it. The S35 is a lot of value and quality for the money, plus it makes marvelously rich tone. The S35 can be an excellent first, or beginner guitar, or a student guitar, because of its high value to cost ration. It's ruggedness can also make it a good knock-about guitar, that stands up to rough handling and still plays and sound good.
