Argentine Loop End 10-45 Gypsy Jazz Guitar Strings
Light tension, loop end, flat wound Gypsy Jazz guitar strings, from Savarez.
The Savarez Argentine series are the legendary Gypsy Jazz strings, that have been played by Django Reinhardt and many other famous guitarists. With all that has changed in the world since Django's time, these strings have ignored trends and fashions of the passing decades, to maintain the integrity of a good design, for musicians who want that original and unparalleled Gypsy Jazz sound. These strings work very well on the famous Selmer-Maccaferri guitars which continue to be made and sold by skilled luthiers to demanding guitarists today. Argentine series Gypsy Jazz guitar strings are made using silver plated metal strip wrapping, over a solid metal wire core. This produces a string that is smooth and exceptionally resistant to the elements and corrosion, and stand up well to hard use. The two treble strings are plain steel, while the remaining four are all wound. Their sound is unique, and they are the only string to reproduce the authentic "Manouche" Jazz sound.
