Korg PITCHBLACK Guitar and Bass Pedal Tuner
The Korg
PITCHBLACK is an advanced guitar and bass chromatic pedal tuner with a large LED display that makes it easy to monitor your guitar or bass tuning. It gives you true bypass output with selectable silent tuning modes. It's the same size as a typical effects box, and is built into a sturdy die cast aluminum body. It has a large LED display that's visible and easy to read form any angle. The display indicate the note it hears in the LED window, and tuning guides show you if you are sharp, flat, or right on. The choice of tuning modes lets you pick from four easy to use and intuitive methods of actually seeing when you are in tune. It soon becomes an intuitive way to tune your guitar or bass.

Four Display Modes:
- Meter Mode: This mode is similar to a needle tuner, except it gives you illuminated green LED tuning guides. The tuning guides will be to the right of center if you are sharp, and to the left of center if you are flat.
- Full Strobe Mode: The tuning guides will move form to the right if you are sharp, or to the left if you are flat. They stop when you are in tune.
- Half Strobe Mode: Similar to the Full Strobe Mode, except that the tuning guides move only if you are out of tune. The disappear and only the center note display is visible when you are in tune.
- Mirror Mode: As you instrument is tuned, the left and right LEDs will move toward each other and meet in the center when you are in tune. The will spread farther apart as your instrument goes more out of tune.

The PITCHBLACK is designed to coexist transparently with your other effects devices. The
100% True Bypass output keeps your tone pure. The input is passed directly to the output jack, without going through any of the tuning circuitry, so it won't affect the sound of your guitar or bass, or your other pedals. You can insert the PITCHBLACK in series with your favorite effects boxes and pedal, without effecting the sound you create with your other devices.
The PITCHBLACK tuner is also designed to fit perfectly into your pedal board array, and it even has a DC OUT jack that can supply power to other effects devices and pedals when the optional AC power adapter is used. You can supply up to 200 mA of DC power to multiple devices, simplifying the power connections on your board.
