SIT Power Wound bass guitar strings are made with nickel plated, round steel wrap over Swedish hex steel cores, using SIT's specialized string winding equipment and proprietary processes for greater volume, true intonation, and long sustain. Their tone is very strong and clear, and sensitive to the player's most delicate touch and inflections. This is an extra light set for 4 string, long scale basses.
