10-46 Black Coated Nickel Electric Guitar Strings
BLACK STRINGS
Black Diamond Black Coated N477LB 10-46 light gauge electric guitar strings are made with a high carbon steel hexagonal core, then wrapped with black coated and nickel plated steel, round windings. The nickel plating gives them extra magnetic characteristics that enhance their tone and volume on electric guitars; and the black coating over the nickel plating gives them a cool look and a longer life. Round windings allow the strings to vibrate more freely, resulting in clearer fundamental tones and harmonics, plus excellent intonation and tuning stability. In addition, the bare strings are also black coated, for balanced string to string tone, plus an extended life while visually blending in with the wound strings. These "BLACK STRINGS" not only look cool and mysterious, but they give you all the classic electric guitar tone and playability of light gauge nickel plated steel strings, plus the beauty and longer life of black coated strings.
