DR MM6-30's are a medium gauge 6-string bass string set, with a 125 low B string. They are also part of the Marcus Miller signature FAT BEAMS family of bass strings by DR, which are specially designed to give you a fatter and deeper bass tone, with a smooth feel. They are made with round stainless steel wrap wire, wound over round core wires, not hex cores. This gives you more core mass per inch of string, for a stronger sound and greater strength. FAT BEAMS have excellent string to string consistency and feel, so all the strings sing and play together, as they should.
