MXR MC-401 Boost/Line Driver

For Use With Guitar Effects Pedals

This little black box can help you solve a variety of line level miss-match and signal conditioning problems that can occur with complex arrangements and combinations of guitar effects pedals. Used in series with your signal chain, it restores the sparkle, punch, and brilliance that sometimes get lost in long effects chains, with multiple cable connections and power supplies. It can be used as an ultra clean boost in gain for leads and solos, or to drive other effects for improved dynamics and sensitivity. 

 

The MC-401 is the result of a joint effort between MXR and Custom Audio Electronics (CAE) founder Bob Bradshaw to develop a dynamic new line of pedals. CAE's innovative pedal designs are made in limited quantities for only a few of their select clientele. By joining forces with MXR and Dunlop Manufacturing, they are now able to bring this amazing pedal to the masses. The MC-401's circuit design has been used for years by CAE in the world's best guitarist's rigs to remedy a variety of signal quality problems, and restore the tone quality, sparkle, punch, and brilliance that can get lost in complex signal paths. It can also be used as an ultra clean boost for leads and solos.
