bass overdrive from MXR. You control the heat, from a traditional tube like growl to scorching high gain distortion, plus lots of side benefits and options. By focusing the overdrive effect in the mid-range frequencies, the Bass Blowtorch retains your low end boom and thunder, while the mids blaze a path through the dense mix, and the high end frequencies sizzle with distortion. An active 3-band EQ with 3-position mid shift lets you zero in on an incendiary tone, while the Blend knob lets you balance your distortion to your taste. The Bass Blowtorch also burns clean in the bypass mode, with no effect on original bass frequencies or flavor. As for instrument connections, you get a standard 1/4-inch input plus two outputs.
