MXR M102 Dyna Comp Effects Pedal

 

The MXR M102 Dyna Comp is a handy little compressor that lets you limit or balance stronger instrument passages by setting a maximum output level and the sensitivity at which it will kick in.  It's extremely useful in leveling out the volume of strong sustained tones for a mellower lead riff.  This useful little box can produce that percussive, clicky sound on a clean guitar that you've heard on so many pop hits. It enhances guitar tone, adds clean and  natural sustain, and makes every note stand out without getting lost in the mix.  A bright red LED is lit whenever the box is ON, so you know at a glance. When the unit off, your guitar signal is in True Bypass, which means it's routed directly to the output without going through any of the electronics, so your guitar tone and volume are unaffected

Power: one 9-volt battery, or a Dunlop ECB-003 AC Adapter (sold separately)

Controls:

• Foot switch toggles effects ON/BYPASS (Red LED comes on for ON);
  
• Output knob sets compression (attenuation) output level;
  
• Sensitivity knob sets compression ratio (highest sensitivity is maximum compression).

Connections:  standard 1/4-inch mono input and outputs, 9 volt power
