The Kyser Drop D capo is a Partial Capo for instant dropped tunings, without actually changing the tuning of your guitar. This is the perfect capo for songs requiring an open E string. The contact pad skips the sixth string, so it retains its open tuning length, while the other five strings are fretted by the capo. Removing the capo immediately returns your guitar to its previous tuning. It can also be used in various fretboard positions and with altered string tunings to produce new creative sound possibilities, to let your musical imagination run free. It's quick and easy to install or take off, and is designed to fit six string acoustic and electric guitars with radiused fretboards.
