This one is a classic, and it's still going strong. The Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face first appeared in 1966, and the original circuit design is still essentially unchanged, except for updating the transistors. The fact that the Fuzz Face is still going strong today says a lot about the validity of the design. Once you find something that works, stay with. After all, the fuzz effect is still a main stay of Rock & Roll, and the Fuzz Face is what created it on many of the classic tunes. The Fuzz Face was used by Jimi Hendrix through out his career, as well as other great guitarists still out there. The JDF2 model by Dunlop brings you the original specification Fuzz Face, with its simple control and amazing effect. It also has a very clean bypass mode, so your guitar tone passes on through with any distortion or fuzz effect; then all you have to do to engage the fuzz is step on the toe switch. It runs on a single 9-volt battery, and will give you hours of playing pleasure and enjoyment.
