Ultra Clean Preamp Tube

 

Groove Tubes's GT ECC83S is a classic European guitar amplifier tube with high gain and a very linear frequency response. It has a very clean tone, with good bass characteristics. It's been a standard in Marshall and Vox amplifiers for years. The GT ECC83S is a good tube to switch into your preamp when you want to change to a pure and clean tone, to suit the style of the music you're playing. It's generally interchangeable with 12AX7Cs and 7025s in many amplifier preamp stages, but has its own distinctive tone.
