Korg GT120 Guitar and Bass Chromatic Tuner

The KORG GT-120 is a needle type, guitar and bass tuner that gives you clear visibility and stable detection, in a handy size. It is extremely sensitive and accurate, and the needle movement lets you see precisely how close you are to exact and proper pitch. The back lit LCD screen also shows the calibration setting, flats and sharps, note name, and the remaining battery life. Flat and sharp symbols indicate pitch drift or perfect pitch in a way that's easy to read on a dim stage. The large dial lets you select the mode you want, and the stand lets you place the GT-120 in an upright position on a nearby amplifier or any flat surface.

The GT-120 had two tuning modes; Auto and Manual. In Auto, open string names are automatically detected and the LCD automatically show the name of the note closes to the pitch you play. In Manual mode, you first choose the name of the note, and the needle indicates if you are flat or sharp relative to the selected note, and goes to center as you tune to the selected note.

The GT-120 supports seven string guitars and six string basses, plus open tunings for use with slides or finger picking including Open D, E, G, and A, as well as DADGAD.  It also gives you flat tunings in four semitones below standard. tuning. It also can play reference pitches form C2 (65.41 Hz) to C7 (2093 Hz), so you can tune by ear. The built-in microphone allow tuning acoustic guitars and basses, but you can also use the 1/4-inch jack to connect an instrument directly to the GT-120.

The GT-120 can run for up to 100 hours on two AAA batteries, or it can use an AC power adapter (not included).  It also comes with a suede toned case.
