GCB95 Original Crybaby Wah Pedal

 

The GCB95 is the original Cry Baby Wah pedal form Dunlop Manufacturing. This one goes back to the days when today's legendary guitar players like Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Gilmour and others were just starting out, and the Cry Baby became one of their main tools to help them create their distinctive sounds.  What worked then still works today, because it's that good.  The original GCB95 Cry Baby is built into a heavy die cast housing, for years of dependable service, and it feels solid under your foot.  The 100K ohm Hot Potz potentiometer allows for that quick, abrupt wah sound, when you hit the pedal.  The GCB95 is powered by a 9 volt battery, or it can run on external 9 volt power form a Dunlop ECB-003 AC adapter.

Technically speaking, a wah pedal is a sweepable notch filter that sweeps through the frequency spectrum contained in any given musical note.  The effect is especially useful in lead riffs, but is a great way to add more dimension and individual creativity to your sound.
