The dreadnaught design has become the most popular guitar body design, due primarily to the fullness of its tone and it shear acoustic volume. The factory installed pickup and preamp allow you to plug the ES35C into a standard guitar amplifier for additional volume and tone shaping. The neck also has an adjustable truss rod, and the body has a deep cutaway to let you easily reach the upper end of the scale.
