EJ26 Custom Lights feature extra light treble strings and medium bass strings, for a broad dynamic range of tonal possibilities.  EJ26's are sensitive to the touch and easy to finger and chord.   They have a warm acoustic tone with ample volume to let the treble and mid-range strings ring out while retaining a full bodied bass. Phosphor Bronze alloy windings produce a warm, full bodied tone.  D'Addario introduced their Phosphor Bronze strings back in 1974.  Since then they have become synonymous with warm, bright, and well balanced tone.
