The Ultrasound CP100 is Dean Markley's "Little Brute" acoustic amp, with exceptionally pure acoustic guitar tone and power in a compact, lightweight combo package. The CP100 is a 100 W, 1 x 8" acoustic guitar combo amp.This little amp pumps out 100 watts RMS into the heavy duty Eminence speaker and Super-Tweeter. The CP100 gives you two instrument channels with phantom-powered microphone inputs along with volume and active EQ for each channel. Additional features include a studio quality DI, Effects Loop, Extension Speaker Jack, and an additional Aux. Input for Tape/CD. The CP100 has 16 digital effect that can be assigned to Channel 1, Channel 2, or both, and can be mixed from 0 to 50 percent with the pure signal.

My Bass Player Did a Double-take to See Where all That Tone Was Coming From. I am using a Yamaha 1200es archtop, a Taylor 710LTD with the fishman dual pickup system, and a Cordoba FWSE Nylon string thinline. I bought this for use with the Jazz quartet I have been playing with. I wanted an amp to do both the archtop jazz tone, as well as a warm, natural sounding gut-string tone. This amp really delivers both. The 1st night it arrived, i literally unboxed it, and ran off to an outdoor gig. After a little noodling with it, we started playing, and my bass player did a double take to see where all that tone was coming from. All coming from an amp smaller than a deluxe reverb, cool. P.
