Now the amount of ambient light available for seeing you tuner display is no longer a factor in accurately tuning your guitar. There are there modes to choose from, to suit your conditions: OFF, for brightly lit areas; SOFT, for mixed lighting conditions, and AUTO for shadow zones and back stage areas. The AUTO mode automatically switches to SOFT, to conserve battery life when it senses sufficient ambient light. The display itself has been designed to enhance visual readability, with large fonts for notes and a meter that accurately indicates pitch discrepancies relative to the desired note. When switched ON, additional indications appear on the viewing screen let you know such things as: microphone or piezo mode, reference pitch indicator, high or low pitch, note letter name, back lighting option, as well as a very sensitive meeter movement.
