Augustine Black Label concert strings have light Black Bass strings and low tension Classic treble strings, and are an excellent choice for delicate or sensitive classical guitars, that respond well to a lighter touch.  Black Label bass strings are copper wound for a deep and resonant tone. The treble strings are Albert Augustine's  "Classic" nylon treble strings, which he designed for Andres Segovia in 1947. They have withstood the test of time, and preserve the "Classic" treble sound.

 

Augustine classical guitar strings are ranked according to bass string density and treble string tension, in accordance with the type of feel and string response desired.
