The Applause AE140  combine the legendary Ovation roundback technology, professional features, and extreme value. Featuring a spruce top with matched, lightweight bracing designed to enhance punch and projection, the AE140 4-string bass guitar has a robust sound. The Mid-Depth cutaway composite body delivers balanced acoustic tone and is comfortable to hold and play. The AE140 bass also features a 1-11/16 inch nut width, a rosewood fretboard with 21 polished nickel-silver alloy frets, a nato neck with satin finish, and a traditional center soundhole. The full 34” scale delivers harmonically rich timbres across the instrument’s entire range.The OP-4B preamp provides a 3-band EQ, gain knob, and battery status LED.  It's great for recording.
