Easy playing and great sounding 11-52 Custom Light NANOWEB coated 80/20 bronze strings give you full, bright and rich acoustic guitar tone, plus are easy to fret for forming chords. Made with 80/20 bronze alloy windings, they have a bright tone. The NANOWEB coating is essentially invisible, but it locks out finger oils, grit, and contaminants that can collect in the spaces between the windings and rob the tone and the life of your strings. NANOWEB lets you enjoy your strings three to five times longer than ordinary strings, while retaining their natural tone and warmth. The bare strings are also treated. They receive Elixir's Anti-Rust coating to prevent junk from sticking to them, and from killing their tone prematurely.

Elixir created their amazing coatings for wound strings and their anti-rust plated plain steel strings so you can have great tone and clean, smooth strings every time you pick up your guitar. Ordinary strings have a tendency to collect dirt, oils, and residues between the wraps of wound strings. They are not easily removed, in spite of our best efforts to wipe our strings down frequently, and they interfere with the free vibration of the strings, and leads to corrosion. This eventually results in loss of tone, and dull sounding strings. Elixir's coatings form a protective barrier over the outside of the wound strings, preventing the invasion of contaminants between the windings. Nothing gets past the coating, so your strings stay clean longer. In addition, the plain strings are also treated with Elixir's anti-rust coating, to keep them clean and sounding great three to five times longer than ordinary strings. NANOWEB coated strings give you a balanced tone and response that really lasts. Even if Elixir's cost a little more than ordinary strings, they are economical in the long run, because of they outlast ordinary strings and don't have to be replaced as often. You save money by not having to replace strings as often.
