Guitar String Depot is a family owned on-line retail business, specializing in guitar strings and accessories to enhance your playing experience.

We are located seven miles north of Ruston, Louisiana, in the hill country of north Louisiana. Ruston is the home Louisiana Tech, and is a thriving education and business center in this part of the state. Our location in the south central part of the country makes it convenient for us to stock certain popular guitar and bass strings, so we can ship directly to our customers. However, we currently drop ship many purchases directly form our suppliers to our customers, to avoid inventory and warehousing expenses.
We carry a lot more than just guitar items, by also supporting bass guitar, banjo, mandolin, and ukulele players, making their favorite strings and accessories affordable. We design our product pages to give you more technical information than sales hype, you can evaluate and compare items, and decide if it's really what you are looking for. We identify the key characteristics of our string sets in their products names to help you pick out the string gauges, alloys (nickel plated steel wound, pure nickel wound, phosphor-bronze, 80/20 bronze, nylon, etc.), as well the specific instruments they go on. We have steel strings for rock, blues, jazz, Bluegrass, and just general playing; as well as classical and folk nylon guitar string. In addition to strings, we carry straps, capos, tuners, amplifiers and amplifier tubes, and other accessories for guitar, banjo,mandolin and other fretted instruments. We don't try to carry every item in existence, just the popular ones. However, we are constantly adding new items to our inventory, to try to server the needs of the stringed instrument community.
